CJ Lawnscaping offers an annual treatment programme designed to maintain a high quality lawn or to solve specific lawn issues. The basic package of treatments consist of:

• Spring Granular Feed (can be combined with mechanical scarification or aeration if required)

• Summer 1 Granular Feed (application of a slow release combination of nitrogenous fertiliser and weedkiller or a Bio Organic compound)

​

• Summer 2 Granular Feed (application of a slow release combination of nitrogenous fertiliser and weedkiller or a Bio Organic compound)

​

• Autumn/Winter Feed (application of slow release fertiliser to harden top growth and stimulate root development - can be combined with mechanical scarification or aeration if required)

• Moss suppressant treatment (application of iron sulphate spray to harden grass growth and suppress moss)

• Annual Lawn Fertilisation programme (your lawn has different nutritional requirements to ensure that it stays in peak condition - by establishing a suitable fertilisation programme you will ensure that your lawn remains in peak condition throughout the year)

• Lawn Scarification (your lawn will naturally build up a layer of decomposing material which will prevent air and moisture from reaching the roots - essential for plant health. This layer is removed by an automated raking action which will reduce the thatch layer. A suitable fertilisation programme will ensure that any remaining debris will decompose naturally)

• Lawn Aeration (applying a series of either hollow or solid tines will ensure that air spaces are created in the soil to help grass plant roots develop effectively and also ensure that essential elements such as air, water and nutrients reach the plant system where they are required)

• Overseeding (the application of seed to introduce the more desirable grasses into the sward or to help thicken up a weak or thin lawn  - often most effective when combined with lawn aeration)

• Top Dressing (the application of a suitable sand/soil mix will help to improve lawn surface levels as well as improving the soil structure over time)
